Senior Cost Accountant- Agribusiness (Boise, ID)

Summary

This role determines and implements cost accounting procedures and methods.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the preparation and analysis of cost reports.           
• Examines and reviews unusual cost records and ensures cost data is allocated correctly. 
• Performs monthly inventory work order updates and inventory reconciliations.
• Updates standard costs on a regular basis; sets up standard costs for new products.
• Prepares monthly product cost reports and standard cost variance analysis summaries. 

Typical Education

Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university

Relevant Experience

5+ years related experience and/or training

This is a senior-level position to the Cost Accounting job family requiring a comprehensive understanding of Accounting fundamentals and principles. Work is varied and complex. Assignments are broad in nature, usually requiring originality and ingenuity.
