Job Objective:
Responsible for providing leadership regarding staff development, client outcomes, and program compliance for a Mission Team Staff of 12 to 14 staff members. The Director of Client Services will oversee the Opportunity Accelerator Hub Model structure, refinnment and rollout in South Bend, Elkhart and Michigan City. This role requires a balance of independence and structure. The Director of Client Services thrives in an environment with strict deadlines and shifting priorities, while making decisions within a set framework. The candidate excels at identifying opportunities to improve daily operations based on factual data. Management of data and quality assurance is essential. This position reports to the Senior Mission Services Director who evaluates performance annually.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
- South Bend and Elkhart Opportunity Accelerator Team Hub Employees.
Essential Job Functions:
- Ensure the integrity of the Opportunity Accelerator (OA) client-centered management framework.
- Oversee the use of grant funding up to $500,000, ensuring compliance with all program components, contract requirements, and timely, accurate data reporting.
- Monitor metrics to ensure clients are progressing through the OA framework and achieving milestones.
- Address staff disciplinary issues in alignment with Goodwill’s Core Values.
- Ensure staff understand their job responsibilities and have opportunities for skill development, including arranging necessary training.
- Maintain and build strong relationships with all staff to ensure a consistent flow of client leads.
- Provide coverage for staff during vacations, illness, and other absences.
- Oversee the office facility and manage the relationship with the landlord, including submitting maintenance requests, coordinating janitorial services, and managing deliveries.
- Stay informed about and communicate with other community agencies, programs, and training opportunities.
- Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Participate in interdepartmental meetings as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
Required Education and Skills:
- Associate degree required; a bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
- Five years of management experience in a client-centered program delivery model.
- Previous experience managing client data using electronic platforms such as CaseWorthy or Salesforce.
- Ability to interact tactfully with personnel at all levels and understand the needs and challenges of individuals with disabilities and those facing economic disadvantages.
- Capability to work effectively without close supervision.
- Proficient in planning and organizing personal work and accepting responsibility.
- Must be able to perform well under pressure.
- Aptitude for making tough decisions, enforcing policies, and meeting deadlines.
- Detail oriented with strong organizational and planning skills.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
