Position: Distribution Technician Lead
Reports to: Distribution Supervisor

What you’ll be contributing:
- Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.
- Perform Daily Work Inspections and record Daily Findings
- Perform and Inspect Safety Cages for the Drivers
- Clean and Shovel all Areas of Distribution Housekeeping
- Taking the lead on How to Lace Up Hoses on Rail Cars
- Lead setting Handbrakes on Railcars
- Open and close Lids
- Leading operating Spouts
- Lead the 3 Step Rail Protection
- Lead Automation for loading Rail
- Lead load trucks and Rail on Scale 5
- Operate Mobile Equipment (Locomotive, Shuttle wagon, Skid Steer)
- Load Inside Truck Loading both K1 and K2 Sides
- Additional duties as assigned by supervisor
To succeed in this position, you will need:
- High school graduation or equivalent is required
- Ability to read, write and understand warning labels, instructions, signs, etc. Willingness to learn, training will be provided
- Able to safely Drive Buggy
- Able to use Company CB Radio and Communicate with co workers
- Know how Rail Switches operate and be able to make proper switching
- Must be able to climb Ladders
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Know all ll Silo Numbers both the Old and New Side
- Know all Track Numbers and how many Cars it can hold
- Know Air slide Flow
- Know how to unplug Silos, Air Slides and Airlines
- Know FK Pumps and Compressors
- Know Air Pressures for FK Pumps
- Be able to work alone and Troubleshoot Issues that arise
- Able to Load Class H Material
- Able to follow Directions from Customer Tickets
- Must be able to access emails and reply to emails
- Must be able to do returns and Credits to Customer Tickets
- Able to Grab Samples from Trucks from Class H Loading
- Able to attend Plant Meetings
- Able to hold Daily Safety Meetings
- Able to oversee the Dept. in a safe manner without disrupting Operations
