As the Senior Director, Total Rewards, Global Incentives you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Otis’ global management and sales incentive programs to ensure Otis is leading the competition in terms of our ability to attract, retain, incentivize top talent, and win in the market.  In this key position, you will lead a global incentives Center of Expertise (COE), collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners to streamline and simplify Otis’ existing incentive program portfolio with a specific focus on deploying sales incentive programs that balance global applicability with regional flexibility to meet the needs of the business and drive performance.

This role reports directly to the Senior Vice President, Global & Executive Compensation, is location flexible (globally), and can be fully remote, hybrid, or on-site depending on location and preferences.

On a typical day you will: 

  • Operationalize our newly established global Incentives COE by establishing collaborative and effective regional partnerships and centralized governance models, global standards and frameworks, and consulting capabilities
  • Streamline and simplify Otis’ existing management incentive portfolio through the development and deployment of a global framework.  Appropriately balance global guidelines and governance with local business and market requirements
  • Partner with global Sales, HR, and P&L leaders to shape and implement a global sales compensation strategy and incentive program design framework
  • Collaborate with regional and operating unit sales and HR leaders to implement and transition.  Ensure effective change management, modeling, impact analysis, communication, and delivery of the new programs
  • Monitor and assess program effectiveness to drive continuous improvement in program strategy and design
  • Partner cross-functionally to support plan administration and governance.  Identify opportunities to leverage tools, technology, and processes to improve operational execution and efficiency
  • Ensure effective communication of annual program design and performance updates to enhance colleague understanding and drive effectiveness

What you will need to be successful: 

  • Proven track record in a strategic global compensation role, demonstrating a deep understanding of incentive program design, compliance, and administration across diverse international markets
  • Subject matter expertise in sales compensation design, administration, and best practices with a proven ability to navigate global complexities
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, influencing, and project management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change and transformation in a global, matrixed environment
  • Strategic mindset and strong analytical capabilities to model, forecast, and assess program costs and monitor effectiveness
  • Willingness and desire to roll up sleeves and provide hands-on expertise where needed

Education/Experience requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required with 10+ years of experience in designing and implementing compensation programs, sales compensation experience highly preferred
  • Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or Finance preferred with 7-10 years of relevant experience

 

Compensation

The U.S. salary range for this role is $190,000 - $235,000.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may change in the future.  Pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
