About Us - Pharmacy

• The Inpatient Pharmacy is a fast paced, high energy department that works closely with practitioners and nursing staff to provide quality care for patients at Freeman Health System

• We play a vital role in patient care by ensuring medication availability, delivering directly to the patient care areas and maintaining inventory in medication dispensing machines throughout the system

• The Pharmacy consists of over eighty energetic, hard-working, compassionate team members

Schedule: FULL TIME

What You’ll Do

Consults with pharmacists, physician, nurses and other caregivers to obtain medication history information and seek resolution of any issues that are discovered
Accurately documents home medication history in the patient record for physician approval
Accurately documents findings and actions taken with the patient home medications list for pharmacist review and approval.
Consitently utilizes all resources available to gather patient medication history
Consistently and effectively conducts patient/caregiver interview to obtain accurate record of home medications

Requirements:

• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the Missouri Board of Pharmacy, a submitted application and fingerprinting for registration with the MO Board of Pharmacy, or a current Missouri Pharmacy Intern License. Nationally Certified.
