About the Job

Life360 is seeking a highly motivated Global Logistics & Inventory Manager. The role will report directly to the Director of Fulfillment Operations in our Devices group and act as a liaison between our outsourced warehouse sites and Life360. The role will be responsible for defining, implementing, and control of the inventory through our newly established 3rd Party network. To ensure the required level of service and reliability maintaining the balance between compliance, cost, and speed. The role is expected to execute tactics that will increase customer satisfaction, reduce transportation costs, compress lead times, inventory accuracy, improve efficiencies and to implement corrective actions to resolve issues at a global, regional, and local level. 

What You’ll Do

  • Manage relationships with multiple 3rd party fulfillment centers and transportation partners as well as daily execution, drive partnership via KPI management, lead weekly/monthly meetings, QBRs and process improvement.
  • Responsible for working with our offsite warehouses tracking inventory levels from multiple locations and generating reports and insights into inventory performance and identifying areas for improvement including performing RCCA and complying with SOX requirements.
  • Responsible for tracking of all inbound inventory, managing 3rd party vendors on freight outbound, reverse logistics and reconciling RMA receipts through 3rd party portals.
  • Analyze transportation budget, including monthly budget forecast, invoice review and accrual.
  • Champion efficiency ideas, cost reduction measures and assists with implementation of changes within areas of responsibility.
  • Lead RFP, RFI, and contract execution with service partners including communicating project timelines, scorecard summary and recommendation to leadership, and driving selection. 
  • Plan department’s activities, policies, and practices to meet and/or exceed key performance metrics and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Keep abreast of pertinent regulations and respond accordingly to update all departments that are affected by changes. 
  • Identify continuous improvement roadmap & initiatives to improve logistics & inventory challenges through the management of 3rd Party vendors.
  • Ensures contingency policies, systems and practices are in place to prevent and eliminate disruption.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in a directly related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 9+ years of management experience with a deep understanding of global logistics and inventory. 
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable information. 
  • Adaptability to adapt to change in the business and operational landscape.
