The Opportunity
Join our dynamic Student Services Team at Johnson, a place where innovation and collaboration drive academic excellence. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to serve as the Student Services Coordinator for our Master of Professional Studies (MPS) in Management Program.
Key Responsibilities:
Onboarding and Lifecycle Management: Facilitate the onboarding process for post-admission/pre-arrival students, ensuring a seamless transition into the program. Manage student inquiries and needs throughout their lifecycle. Respond to student inquiries via email and onboarding platforms (e.g., Slack). Coordinate and deliver pre-arrival programming such as information sessions, emails, and onboarding materials. Maintain and update new student web pages.
Directly Support MPS Students: Serve as the primary point of contact for students in the MPS in Management Program, offering guidance and support throughout their academic journey, from admission to graduation. Draft and send weekly newsletters to students with important updates and resources.
Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with the MPS in Management faculty director, assistant dean of student services, executive director of MBA Programs, and colleagues from admissions and career services to enhance the overall student experience. Collaborate with faculty and the Registrar’s office on academic advising and graduation requirements.
Program Enhancement: Contribute to the development and improvement of onboarding, academic, and co-curricular aspects of the MPS in Management program. Solicit feedback from students through surveys and focus groups to evaluate the program experience. Support the development of student organizations and leadership opportunities.
Event Support: Plan and execute student orientations, periodic check-ins, social events, and Commencement activities. Manage event schedules, logistics, and on-site support. Occasional work during early morning, evenings, and weekends to support program events and activities.
Alumni Mentorship Program: Coordinate the 2-Year MBA Alumni Mentorship Program, connecting students with alumni mentors. Organize events for alumni-student engagement and evaluate the program for improvements.
International Exchange Support: Manage communications with partner universities and assist students in the exchange process, including visa co
