Job Summary

The Senior Application Analyst is responsible for the analysis, building, testing and implementing of information systems and solutions. The Senior Application Analyst is accountable for providing knowledge and skills in assigned software applications and various system environments. The Senior Application Analyst is responsible for developing and following project schedules, plans, reviews and timelines. The Senior Application Analyst is responsible for functioning as a technical resource and to provide knowledge in system installations, building, testing, customization and production support of complex information systems. The Senior Application Analyst participates in project teams, coordinates work assignments and performs complex problem resolution as identified. The Senior Application Analyst designs training plans, conducts and evaluates training sessions for end-users and Information Systems staff. The Senior Application Analyst may lead or support the Project Management activities required to deliver business-oriented, valuable and relevant solutions. The Senior Application Analyst reports directly to the Manager, and works under the guidance of the Lead Application Analyst.

The Senior Application Analyst applies technical skills, in line with MH’s values and goals, to assure the efficient, effective and consistent delivery of high quality services. The Senior Application Analyst is responsible for demonstrating a commitment to the values of the corporation through active participation in Partners in Caring, Customer Service and Continuous Quality Improvement programs.

The Senior Application Analyst serves as a technical resource responsible for supporting, implementing, and optimizing enterprise applications that drive critical business operations. This role partners with leaders, vendors, and cross-functional teams to manage multiple projects, troubleshoot complex application issues, coordinate system enhancements, conduct end-user training, and ensure successful project delivery. The ideal candidate has experience supporting HR or ERP-related applications, excels in a fast-paced environment, and possesses strong communication, organizational, and project management skills with the ability to balance competing priorities and deadlines.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience supporting enterprise applications, preferably HRIS, workforce management, scheduling, timekeeping, or ERP systems

  • Strong troubleshooting, application support, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills

  • Experience working with business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams

  • Ability to deliver user training and support system implementations and enhancements

  • SQL knowledge and healthcare application experience preferred

  • Proven ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with others

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Associates degree and two (2) years experience or four (4) years experience in lieu of degree

Licenses/Certifications: (None)

Experience / Knowledge / Skills:

  • Three (3) years of increasingly responsible experience in a large, corporate systems development and implementation activities in a wide variety of Healthcare Management Information Systems (MIS) technical experience in system analysis, design, building, testing and implementation preferred
  • Experience in supporting complex problems
  • Experience assisting other analysts
  • Demonstrates pattern of growth in ability to lead others
  • Planning and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated record of good communication skills
  • Industry training and increasingly responsible experience with knowledge and skills in a large, complex corporate Information System
