Our team is expanding, and we are seeking a dedicated Event Set Up & Maintenance Technician to join our building services team.

 

The Event Set Up & Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of various events by preparing event spaces to meet specific requirements. This includes arranging tables, chairs, and decorations, as well as maintaining cleanliness to provide an exceptional experience for guests

Responsibilities

What you will be doing:

 

• Set up tables, chairs, and other equipment according to event specifications, ensuring the desired layout is achieved
• Ensure the venue is clean and tidy before and after events
• Clean and sanitize tables and chairs, performing regular maintenance and repairs as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized storage area for equipment and supplies
• Perform light maintenance duties, such as painting and interior lighting, and promptly report any potential maintenance issues
• Follow safety precautions and policies to promote a safe environment
• Display professionalism and the ability to work independently with limited supervision

Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

 

• A high school diploma or GED
• One to three years of related experience preferred
• A valid driver’s license preferred
• Ability to maintain regular attendance and work evenings and weekends as needed
