By working in our world class research, design and development (RDD) department, these professionals have the opportunity to work alongside leading technical specialists and highly motivated creative people to create products which fulfil our vision of being truly different and better than our competitors.<br/> </p><h2>About the role</h2><p></p><p>The Senior Supply Planning Manager (Refurb Planner and Analytics) is responsible for the daily, weekly management and execution of the manufacturing supply plan in full. Specifically focused on the short to medium time frame from W1-W26 as the Supply Chain Planning Manager you will be focused on ensuring materials management, escalation and resolution of supply gaps are clearly communicated, escalated, and followed through until completion. At the same time, you will be responsible for the completion of daily/weekly planning monitoring, KPI management and reporting these include attending daily CM meetings, Daily Operations calls, Clean to Build management, reporting and escalation, along with Manufacturing Adherence reports, and root cause analysis of deviation from plan. <br/> <br/>You will also be responsible for collaboration and communication with the demand & sales team, linking together with the integrated global supply chain with the ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels, you will be the focus and point person for the integration and collaboration between Dyson operations, the contract manufacturer and the global supply chain / receipt market, monitoring and maintaining inventory levels and capacity management, maintaining the eyes of the customer operating from group level objective viewpoint, working and driving towards group specific supply targets and inventory levels. Working closely with internal and external parties to ensure supply of materials is in place to satisfy production requirements. <br/> <br/>You will be working closely with CMs, driving the path of continuous improvement, ensuring all manufacturing plans are delivered on time in full whilst working collaboratively with the integrated global supply chain in developing and creating opportunities for success and continuous improvement, leverage every single available unit of production and delivery to market.</p><p></p><h2>About you</h2><ul><li><p>Degree Level or higher-level education – APIC’s supply chain management advantageous.</p></li><li><p>Extensive experience in the related field (supply planning/purchasing/inventory management) is required for this position.</p></li><li><p>Excellent verbal and written English. Good numerical skills.</p></li><li><p>PC literate (MS Words, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and etc).</p></li><li><p>Highly motivated team player, mature and able to work independently. </p></li><li><p> Self-motivated, accurate and highest ethical standards. Prepared to work hard to get the right result for Dyson, be tough yet be fair with our supplier network.</p></li><li><p>Able to work under a fast-paced environment and with tight schedules and strict guidelines.</p></li><li><p>An analytical thinker and a strong communicator with an eye for detail able to deliver efficient, effective and flexible solutions to meet production requirements. Excellent in materials management.</p></li><li><p>SAP knowledge, with some engineering background will be advantageous.</p></li><li><p>Teamwork: collaboration, knowledge sharing, teamwork & perpetual learning.</p></li><li><p>Communications: clearly communicate, collaborate and tailor your communication style & content to different audiences.</p></li><li><p>Ownership: decision-making, entrepreneurial & business aware, risk taking, lateral thinking & perseverance.</p></li><li><p>Integrity: apply highest ethical standards to others and self, and be fair and compliant in dealing with the supplier network. </p></li></ul><p></p><p>This role would require you to be based at the Dyson office in Budapest for the majority of the week with some travel required to the contact manufacturer based 2 hours from Budapest. </p><p><br/>Dyson is an equal opportunity employer.
