Job Description:

   

The HPC & AI Cloud Services Team focuses on providing AI cloud and supercomputing as a service (SCaaS ). Our team is looking for a Technical Product Manager working on cutting edge AI and HPC to design, plan, develop and manage a portfolio of cloud services and offerings for today’s dynamic market. This is an exciting opportunity to have a significant impact on key business. In this role, you will be an integral part of a team building new products and solutions for AI in the Cloud.

You will design, plan, develop and manage a product or portfolio of products throughout the solution portfolio lifecycle for a deeply technical and emerging market product: from new product definition or enhancements to existing products; planning, design, forecasting, and production; to end of life.

Successfully operates in the most complex disciplines, in which the company must operate to be successful. Provides highly innovative solutions. Leads large, cross-division functional teams or projects that affect the organization's long-term goals and objectives. May participate in cross-division, multi-function teams. Provides mentoring and guidance to lower level employees. Routinely exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and criteria for achieving objectives. Develops strategy and sets functional policy and direction. Acts as a functional manager within area of expertise but does not manage other employees as a primary job function.

Responsibilities:

  • Independently leads and drives the end to end strategy and operational product roadmap for AI Cloud and portfolio of offerings.
  • Builds and delivers the value proposition, target customer segments, and business case to bring innovative and disruptive products to market for a product portfolio with respect to the whole company product portfolio (i.e. Product configuration mix, Revenue/Margins, financials, market share).
  • Develops Product Requirements Document (PRD) for a technical product line based on deeper understanding of Cloud, AI and HPC technologies- software stacks, APIs, and services.
  • Lead as Product Owner in Scrum-Agile environment the development, prioritization of requirements (user stories), based on end user- customer, user admin,  support, operational user personas and use cases for the product.
  • Synthesizes market requirements (MRD) into marketing/customer details through having intimate customer knowledge and business, financial and industry market acumen.
  • Guides key stakeholders on the portfolio strategy across all phases of the lifecycle (e.g., planning, development, launch, management, exit).
  • Creates and drives goal alignment and collaborates across one or more products' value chain partners to optimize margins and enable success of products per plans across the product lifecycle. (ie. Engineering: product development, Supply Chain:  SKUs, inventory and Marketing:   marketing and pricing strategies and Go To Market Plan).

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering or related field of study. MBA or advanced degree in computer science or engineering preferred.
  • 5+ years of work experience in related field
  • Technical understanding and knowledge of the Cloud Services, AI-ML and HPC segments.
  • Prior product management experience and delivering Cloud, aaS offerings to market
  • Strong knowledge of HPC infrastructure and systems

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledge and experience in HPC and AI workloads and technologies. Understanding of Cloud services and architecture including Kubernetes, VMs, and Networking.
