The Senior Financial Controller as a decisive lead function for both German operating offshore projects.<h3></h3><p></p><p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><p></p><ul><li>Acting as the sparring partner for Managing Directors and BU Offshore CFO/Consolidation team for financial planning and analysis (FP&amp;A) related topics. Support senior management with the necessary financial information to enable them to carry out their mandates effectively.</li><li>Lead the preparation of annual budgets for German Offshore Wind assets (workstream manager) from kick-off in late Spring to set-up the decision paper and scenario analysis as well as to track via monthly reporting any deviation and mitigation measures in accordance with approved budget.</li><li>Lead lenders´ communication, mainly with Facility Agent/LLA/LTA, organize Q&amp;A and being the point of contact for internal departments linked to facility agreements. Ensures financial compliance (DSCR calculation and cash forecast) as well as. Being the workstream manager for Lender´s Consent Requests.</li><li>Operate the financial model (lender´s financial model and equity financial model) for budgeting, forecast and actual tracking, including sensitivity and scenario analysis. Manage structural adjustments with external advisory to ensure reliable calculation and smart valuation tools.</li><li>Responsible for cash forecast and EBITDA forecast as well as Key Performance Indicator (KPI) analysis</li><li>Pro-actively work on new finance and power purchase agreement (PPA) initiatives, ensuring adequate <span>quantification/valuation</span> of opportunities, especially analysing chances, risks and mitigation potential.</li><li>Teamlead capability to organize controlling workload together with a (junior) financial controller as direct report (future set-up)</li><li>Assist in timely and accurate financial reporting. Review month, quarter and year end closing.</li><li>Project/asset controlling, including comparison budget to actual to forecast</li><li>Managing operational data and ensuring data integrity and accuracy</li><li>Prepare the reporting subsequent of the bank financing</li><li>Discuss quarterly forecasts with budget owners</li><li>Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts</li><li>Initiate and organize improvements in the financial system (Workday)</li><li>Monitor (and improve where required) the effectiveness of internal controls</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Who you are:</span></b></p><ul><li><b>Methodical and organised:</b> You naturally work in a methodical way and relish the opportunity to add structure and order to your work.
