Position Overview
The Global Talent Acquisition Lead for Manufacturing & Industrial Operations is a strategic leadership role responsible for designing, implementing, and managing talent acquisition strategies that attract and secure top-tier talent across the company’s global manufacturing and industrial operations.
This position partners closely with business leaders, HR, and cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of a diverse, high-performing workforce that fuels operational excellence and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
• Talent Acquisition Strategy:
Develop, execute, and continuously improve a global talent acquisition strategy tailored to the unique needs of manufacturing and industrial functions, aligning with overall business objectives.
• Stakeholder Partnership: Collaborate with executive leadership, plant managers, and HR business partners to identify workforce needs, anticipate talent gaps, and create proactive recruitment plans.
• Global Recruitment Operations: Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes for multiple international locations, ensuring adherence to local regulations, cultural nuances, and company standards.
• Employer Branding: Champion the employer value proposition for manufacturing and industrial roles, leveraging digital platforms, industry events, and partnerships to attract top talent globally.
• Diversity, Equity & Inclusion: Drive initiatives to ensure diverse talent pipelines and inclusive hiring practices across all regions.
• Process Optimization: Implement best-in-class recruitment technologies and data-driven methodologies to improve efficiency, candidate experience, and hiring quality.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a geographically dispersed team of talent acquisition professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning.
• Metrics & Reporting: Define and track key performance indicators, providing regular insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all recruitment activities comply with global and local employment laws and standards, mitigating risks to the organization.
• Manage the full contingent workforce hiring program (FlexForce) for Industrial operations
Required Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with at least 5 years in a leadership role supporting manufacturing or industrial operations on a global scale.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale recruitment initiatives, including plant start-ups, high-volume hiring, and executive search.
• Strong knowledge of global employment laws, compliance, and best practices in multiple regions
• Experience in managing temporary Labor / contingent workforce programs is an asset
• Proven experience implementing digital recruitment tools, applicant tracking systems, and data analytics.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
• Track record of building and leading diverse, high-performing teams across multiple geographies, our key sites are based Canada, France, Sweden and Brazil
• English mandatory, French or Swedish language considered as an asset
