Job Summary:
The Materials Support position plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials within the manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for receiving, stocking, distributing, and tracking raw materials and components necessary for production, as well as handling the final products. The individual in this role works closely with production teams, inventory management, and supply chain departments to maintain efficient manufacturing operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment
• Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods, and rejects unsatisfactory items
• Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped
• Verify inventory, perform physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies
• Maintain records of merchandise shipped, posts weights and shipping charges, and prepares goods for final shipment
• Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and handling of materials for outgoing shipments
• Examines, stocks, and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines
• Prepare kitting packages for assembly production
• Documentation & Data Entry
• Work closely with production teams to ensure materials are available when needed
• Maintain inventory levels and management of expiration dates of chemicals and epoxies
• Assist in cycle counting and physical inventory audits
• Maintain accurate records of material transactions using inventory management software
• Ensure proper documentation of material movements between warehouse, production, and shipping areas.
• Generate reports related to material usage, inventory levels, and order fulfillment

Job Requirements

• Associates degree or Equivalent Experience Required
• 5 years minimum experience in the semiconductor industry
• Intermediate computer skills (FileMaker Pro, and Microsoft Office Preferred)
• Knowledge of working with SAP tools/ERP or inventory management systems is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment 
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting
• Hands-on, Cooperative, Team Player, and Positive Attitude a Must
