This is an opportunity for you to be involved in Life Cycle Management making proactive plans for the IT platform in order to meet current and future business requirements.<br/> <br/> Nordea Asset Management is the centre of investment management in the Nordea Group and in the Asset &amp; Wealth Management division. We offer the possibility to become a part of a team with both deep IT and business competences, that continuously has built an integrated an global operational platform for Nordea Asset Management.<br/> <br/> What you will be doing:</p> <ul> <li>Life Cycle Management making proactive plans for the IT platform to meet current and future business requirements.</li> <li>Monitoring product and delivery plans, technical requirements and communicating those internally.</li> <li>Stakeholder management with close contact to relevant people at the business, Group IT, Developer teams and vendors to have plans executed.</li> <li>Monitoring system performance and capacity of the IT platform.</li> <li>Driving taskforces related to performance and technical problems.</li> <li>Designing, developing, and building the future IT platform</li> <li>Manage application and technical updates and run the continuous development of the SQL platform.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>The NAM IT platform hosts many standard applications together with inhouse developed solutions build on Oracle and SQL Server platforms, all integrated together. As the business complexity rapidly grow, our key focus in supporting the business needs is to have a scalable, agile and market leading operational IT platform.</p> <p><br/> As the Senior SQL Server DBA, you will be part of the continuous proactive improvement of the IT platform in order to meet current and future business requirements.</p> <p><br/> Furthermore you will be:</p> <ul> <li>Implementing various changes in our Test and Pre-Production environments.</li> <li>Solving problems in collaboration with vendors, developers and Group IT.</li> <li>Ensuring that the Production platform is ready for receiving changes, via experiences from the Test- and Pre-Production environments</li> <li>Completing test updates and overseeing the Production platform upgrade</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>The role is based in Copenhagen.<br/> <br/> Who you are<br/> <br/> Collaboration. These are the values that guide us in being at our best – and that we imagine you share with us.</p> <p><br/> We expect that you are fluent in English and have at least a relevant Bachelor’s degree (however relevant working experience will also be highly valued).</p> <p><br/> You have the following competences:</p> <ul> <li>Many years’ experience with administration and maintenance of SQL Server Servers</li> <li>Master T-SQL and PowerShell Programming</li> <li>Master automation of existing and New Solutions with infrastructure as a code</li> <li>Worked with ETL Tools</li> <li>Worked with Microsoft data management tools including Power BI</li> <li>Skilled to troubleshooting and solve complex Business Problems</li> <li>Maintain/monitoring compliance with policies and Reports</li> <li>Support improvement of performance and availability standards of technical solutions through continual service improvement.</li> <li>Can interact business teams and subject matter experts to understand their problems and translate their needs</li> <li>Can corporate in a pro-active team across competencies and technical areas</li> </ul> <p><br/> Our ideal candidate will also have most of the following skills:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of how to architect and Improve Infrastructure to be Cloud ready</li> <li>Business Knowledge and understanding</li> <li>Understanding of Docker containers</li> <li>Knowledge of Oracle</li> <li>Knowledge of Oracle Golden Gate and other integration tools</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>If this sounds like you, get in touch!</p> <p> </p> <p>Next steps<br/> <br/> Submit your application no later than 19/06/2024.
