<p>We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Group Leader to join the STA R&D Informatics group/leadership team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and steering a group of specialized professionals in automation & engineering across various locations, as well as guiding and aligning their efforts to drive digital solutions and innovation on a global scale. The candidate will have a background in digital solution management, excellent leadership abilities, and an understanding of market trends and stakeholder needs in the digital space.</p>
<h2>RESPONSIBILITIES</h2>
<p>This is your task package:</p>
<ul>
<li>Lead and manage a Global Digital Automation & Engineering group, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality digital products. </li>
<li>You will run people and team development processes, including performance management and career development, and ensure that your team is compliant with all existing safety, stewardship and quality standards.</li>
<li>Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting knowledge sharing, cross-functional collaboration, and professional growth.</li>
<li>In close collaboration and consultation with the Digital Product Family Managers and Digital Solution Managers, be responsible for reviewing resource demands and staff allocation for R&D digital product development. </li>
<li>Assist Product Family Managers in addressing resource management issues and improving processes, assign employees to products based on their skills, experience, and availability. </li>
<li>Manage product owner resources and ensure sufficient resources are available through capacity planning. </li>
<li>Manage conflicts related to resource allocation and maintain a comprehensive understanding of current and upcoming product development activities to effectively plan resources.</li>
<li>Develop and implement digital product management best practices, frameworks, and processes to streamline and optimize product development lifecycle.</li>
<li>Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team, encouraging creativity and exploring new opportunities to enhance digital products.</li>

<h2>QUALIFICATIONS</h2>
<p>This is what we expect:</p>
<ul>
<li>Master's degree with a minimum of 5 years of successful experience in leading global teams, or a minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar position. </li>
<li>Additionally, it is required that you have a minimum of 10 years of successful experience in the relevant field of digital life science.</li>
<li>Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and influence a diverse team of product owners.</li>
<li>Strong people management skills, including multi-year experience in developing and coaching digital teams.</li>
<li>Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that enable you to effectively communicate and interact with diverse teams and stakeholders on a global scale.</li>
<li>A digital mindset and your passion for improving processes enables you to think out of the box.</li>
<li>Keep abreast of new developments and innovation in digital technologies and strategy.</li>
<li>You are known for your pragmatism, hands-on mentality and strong team leadership and social skills.</li>
<li>Experience in agile methodologies and ways of working.</li>
<li>You have a track record of successfully managing organizational change initiatives and experience in planning, implementing, and evaluating change management strategies.</li>
