THE JOB:
As a Lead Cook at Salt & Ivy, you’ll take charge of your station, bringing consistency, creativity, and leadership to every shift. From coastal-inspired breakfasts to vibrant brunch plates, you’ll showcase your culinary techniques to deliver high-quality dishes that reflect the fresh, modern spirit of Salt & Ivy. Working closely with front-of-house teammates, you’ll help create the WOW moments that turn a meal into a memory for guests from around the world.

THE STARTING RATE: $19.46/hr

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Communicate with management, chef and service staff in order to fulfill and address any issue or needs requested by guests and employees.
• Notify Room Chef or Sous Chef of problems that arise and how they have been corrected.
• Expedite and coordinate service and produce according to par levels.
• Responsible for normal operation of stations. Able to work sauté, sauce, grill, cold seafood, pastry and appetizer station.
• Maintain solid knowledge, understanding and preparation of base sauces, stocks and soups.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Is 21+ years of age
• Has 1+ years of high-volume cook experience
• Has a high school diploma, GED or equivalent
