Camp Administrative Assistant I
Summary:This detail-oriented individual will use strong organizational skills to support the clerical details within the Camping department. This individual will represent a Christ-centered, relationship-oriented organization in a professional manner.

Education:
High school education or its equivalent required; some college (or equivalent) desired.
Experience Required For The Job:
Note: Young Life is a relational ministry. Staff must be able to convey a sense of Christ-like hospitality and concern for guests and staff. Responding to the unexpected needs of a guest in a prompt and professional manner is important. All staff members are expected to represent Young Life positively and professionally within the community and be able to work with and minister to the volunteer high school and college-age young people who attend our camps.
Job Specific Working Conditions:
- Southwind is located in beautiful Central Florida. Southwind is close to Orlando and Gainesville, which offer many outdoor adventure opportunities, and a full array of amenities. Southwind operates year round and serves every brand of Young Life camping and a variety of church groups, private Christian schools, and outreach ministries. Southwind is in an exciting stage of a master plan build-out that includes new structures and the remodel of existing structures. Southwind’s culture is focused on helping staff develop and grow their relationship with Christ, develop and grow vocationally and professionally, and creating an environment where Southwind’s guests experience God’s transformative love.
