Finger Lakes Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Pre/Post or Endo team. This position plays a vital role in providing safe, patient-centered care across the perioperative continuum while supporting our mission to deliver high-quality healthcare to the communities we serve.

Education

  • Minimum: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing

  • Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Licensure & Certifications

  • License: Current New York State license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse (required)- All new grads must be fully licensed by August 10, 2026 to begin the residency program. 

  • Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) required at time of hire/orientation

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion

  • Professional, courteous, and effective interaction with patients, families, and team members

  • Strong ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and support teamwork through positive role modeling

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills (in person and via telephone)

  • Computer literacy with prior experience using an electronic medical record (EMR) system

  • Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Office products

Population-Specific Requirements

The RN must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate care to patients across the lifespan. This includes:

  • Understanding principles of growth and development

  • Assessing and interpreting patient data relevant to age-specific needs

  • Providing appropriate care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations

 

Hourly Rate of Pay: $40.71

LPN Experience will increase pay
