Software Quality Assurance (QA) analyst/tester

We are searching for a Software Quality Assurance (QA) analyst/tester, on behalf of our client. The person would verify the functionality and reliability of software programs and to ensure software operates as intended, free of bugs.  This is a 1 yr. contract assignment. (W-2)   The person would prepare and execute test cases. The ideal candidate would have experience in documenting test cases and procedures.
 

Location:  Miami Gardens, FL 33014

This is a 1 yr. contract assignment. (W-2) 

 

Primary Responsibilities:
• Testing: Performing manual and automated tests to identify defects and issues in the software.

• Documentation: Documenting and reporting issues, including steps to reproduce them, for developers to address.

• Collaboration: Working with developers and other team members to ensure software quality and identify potential improvements.

• Performance Analysis: Evaluating software performance under various conditions and identifying areas for optimization.

• Test Script Creation: Developing and maintaining test scripts to test processes.

• Test management tools: Jira, Qmetry
• Software: working knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. SAP S4 Hana, Mainframe knowledge preferred
