This Business Analyst position will support the SAP enterprise implementation program at Collins Aerospace. This position will be focused in the areas of designing, developing and supporting:

APO – Advanced Planning Optimization

• DP- Demand Planning

• SNP- Supply Network Planning

• PPDS – Production Planning/Detailed Scheduling

• GATP- Global Available to Promise

• CIF – Core Interface (Including interfaces between APO, BW and ECC)

This request is not only limited to a finite APO functional scope, moreover the resource will also require a high level of understanding in all other production planning activities within ECC as well. IBP – Integrated Business Planning experience is highly desired.

What YOU will do:

• Maintenance and ability to troubleshoot the Core Interface (CIF) between APO and SAP

• Understanding of SAP ECC MM, SD, PP modules

• Understanding of both raw material and finished goods,

• Understanding of inventory & data management processes are desired for end-to-end business processes

• Understanding across Supply Chain Planning, Production Planning and Production Execution

• Understanding of MRP Planning, BOM, Routing, Material Master Planning parameters

• Ability to create and/or maintain the planning areas, planning books, and data views

• Ability to setup MPOS characteristics, Info cubes, full knowledge of RSA1 transaction and how to send and receive data to and from BW and ECC

• Working knowledge of SNP master data for planning, production and distribution

• Working knowledge of SNP Heuristics planning

• Setting up or maintaining custom alerts

• Working knowledge of the macro workbench

• Working knowledge of Process Chains and the scheduling processes

• Assisting users with reporting and knowledge of BW/ Business Objects

• Work with the development team on enhancing/correcting BADIs, interfaces and load programs

• Working knowledge of ABAP development.

Qualifications you must have:

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position (U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder).

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.

• 5 years of industry and/or IT work experience in the areas of SAP | APO - DP, SNP and GATP

• Experience with Industry standard ERP system implementations (Full Life Cycle)

• Organizational agility and have the communication skills to influence others

• Ability to communicate effectively with technical, non-technical customers and team members

• Must have participated in at least two APO system implementations.

• Experience/knowledge working in an aerospace environment is a highly desirable

• Must be okay with 20% travel.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Technical experience and a working knowledge in SAP IBP – Integrated Business Planning is a highly desired skill set (SIOP, Supply Chain Control Tower, Demand, Inventory, Response & Supply)
