OPPORTUNITY We are seeking a dynamic Human Capital Recruiter to join our team during an exciting period of growth and transformation. This role is ideal for someone who is energized by mission-driven work and excited about the intersection of talent acquisition, employer branding, and marketing strategy.As a recruiter at Green Dot, you’ll be more than just a talent finder—you’ll be a strategic storyteller, a brand ambassador, and a driver of equity in education. Your work will play a critical role in ensuring our schools are staffed with highly effective educators and staff who reflect and uplift the communities we serve.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Talent Attraction & Marketing Strategy
> Develop and execute recruitment campaigns that highlight Green Dot’s mission, values, and employee value proposition
> Design and manage social media strategies that authentically showcase life at Green Dot, especially classroom best practices, teacher impact, and community stories
> Create compelling, inclusive job descriptions and manage job postings across multiple platforms for maximum visibility
> Identify trends in education employment to ensure our recruitment approach remains competitive and relevant
> Design and oversee a robust employee referral program, including promotion, tracking, and incentive fulfillment
> Attend occasional in-person events or school visits
Branding & Storytelling
> Partner with Human Capital team members and school leaders to surface stories that demonstrate what makes Green Dot a great place to work
> Produce engaging written and visual content for use across digital channels (e.g., newsletters, Instagram, LinkedIn)
> Ensure consistency and alignment of messaging across all recruitment and employer brand touchpoints
> Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in all messaging to reflect the communities we serve
Data & Continuous Improvement
> Track and analyze recruitment metrics to assess campaign performance and optimize outreach efforts
> Collect and synthesize insights from staff and candidate feedback, including exit interviews and surveys
> Share learnings with the team and apply data to inform recruitment strategy and improve candidate experience
QUALIFICATIONS
As an ideal candidate, you:

> bring a balance of creativity and data-mindedness to your work
> believe deeply in educational equity and wants to make a tangible impact in public schools
> have a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Business, or related field
> have at least 1 year of experience in recruitment, marketing, communications, or employer branding for talent or brand marketing)
> possess strong written and verbal communication skills
> have experience using recruitment tools (e.g., applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards)
> possess a data-informed mindset and ability to interpret campaign or platform analytics
> are familiar with the teacher recruitment landscape and/or educational hiring cycles (preferred)
> have knowledge of digital advertising and content marketing best practices (preferred)
> are dependable, humble, have an open mind, and a rock-solid commitment to Green Dot’s mission and the communities we serve
> will need to pass a TB test and background check at the time of offer
JOB REQUIREMENTS
> Work Hours: This position requires consistent attendance during scheduled hours, as flexibility is limited by classroom or operational requirements.
> Breaks: Breaks are structured within the workday and must align with operational needs and student care requirements. Extended or frequent breaks may not be feasible in this setting.

COMPENSATION
The starting salary range for this role is $68,640 - $73,640. To allow for salary progression over time, offers at the top of the range are rare. Individual education and experience will be considered when issuing offers.
