Overview of Job/Team:
We’re seeking a high-performing Director of Strategic Sales to drive new business growth within a defined set of Fortune 250 enterprise accounts. This is a senior-level, quota-carrying role responsible for building and executing strategic account plans, navigating complex sales cycles, and closing deals that deliver measurable value to our customers.
You are a seasoned enterprise sales professional with a proven track record of exceeding targets, navigating long, consultative sales cycles, and influencing senior decision-makers—especially in security and cybersecurity functions. You’re confident in selling sophisticated solutions, collaborating with channel partners, and leveraging internal resources to win.
What You'll Do:
- Enterprise Sales Execution
- Own and exceed a defined annual sales quota by closing new business within assigned strategic accounts (F250 focus).
- Drive full-cycle sales engagements from prospecting to close with complex buying committees, including CISOs, CIOs, and Procurement.
- Strategic Account Management
- Develop, maintain, and execute strategic account plans that align with customer objectives and SpyCloud’s value proposition.
- Cultivate executive relationships with security and IT leaders, identifying opportunities to expand footprint and influence.
- Channel & Ecosystem Collaboration
- Engage closely with key channel partners to co-sell into target accounts.
- Leverage partner relationships to accelerate deal cycles and expand reach.
- Sales Process & Forecasting
- Maintain clean and accurate records in Salesforce, regularly updating opportunity data, forecast status, and close plans.
- Use tools such as Outreach, Sales Navigator, and ChatGPT to fuel personalized, multi-channel prospecting strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Marketing, Sales Engineering, Legal, and Product teams to tailor solutions, navigate complex negotiations, and align to customer needs.
- Contribute voice-of-customer insights to inform go-to-market and product strategy.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of successful B2B technology sales experience, with a strong preference for cybersecurity and/or security infrastructure solutions.
- Proven track record of consistently exceeding quota and closing high-value, complex deals within very large enterprises.
- Demonstrated ability to engage, influence, and build trusted relationships with senior executives (e.g., CISOs, CIOs).
- Experience selling to or through the channel, with a history of developing productive partner relationships.
- Deep understanding of security buyer personas and enterprise procurement processes.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Google Suite
- Experience with Confluence, Ironclad, and AI productivity tools like ChatGPT
