Job Purpose
Who we are, what we are doing?
• Our flagship Cloud system (codenamed Language Cloud) is a SaaS platform developed by RWS that exposes as a service the best of our multilingual content capabilities and enables expressing our language expertise that made us leaders in the translation industry.
• We're evolving from traditional DevOps operations toward a Platform-as-Product model, building self-service capabilities and golden paths for development teams. This role balances operational excellence (maintaining platform infrastructure across 6 environments) with platform innovation (building developer tooling, automation, and infrastructure-as-code solutions).
• We're looking for engineers who can both operate complex systems AND build platforms that enable team autonomy.
• We have been building Language Cloud in a microservice architecture using Java, C# and a variety of other technologies. Our engineers are experienced with various build and deployment pipelines. We implement Continuous Delivery using tools like Chef, Jenkins, Spinnaker, and Nexus, deploying our services on native cloud infrastructure from AWS (and in the future not limited to)
