About the Role:
The Senior Director of Property & Facilities is a strategic leadership position responsible for overseeing the comprehensive management and operational excellence of all property and facility assets within the organization. This role ensures that all physical environments are safe, efficient, and aligned with the company’s long-term business objectives. The Senior Director will lead a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement maintenance, capital improvement, and sustainability initiatives that optimize asset performance and reduce operational costs. They will collaborate closely with executive leadership, vendors, and internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and compliance with regulatory standards. Ultimately, this position plays a critical role in supporting the organization’s growth and operational resilience through effective property and facilities management in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in property and facilities management, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven experience managing large-scale facilities and capital projects within a complex organizational environment.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Facilities Management, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Facility Management Professional (FMP), or Project Management Professional (PMP).
- Experience with sustainability programs and green building certifications (e.g., LEED).
- Familiarity with advanced facilities management software and data analytics tools.
- Experience working in a corporate or healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans for property and facilities management that align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and mentor a team of facilities managers, maintenance staff, and external contractors to ensure high standards of service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial management related to property operations, including capital projects and maintenance expenditures.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and building codes, and implement risk management protocols to safeguard assets and personnel.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support space planning, workplace experience enhancements, and sustainability initiatives.
