In line with team objectives, policies and procedures and under guidance of a more senior team member, to participate in design, coding, testing and maintenance of high quality application software/tools.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of critical Cassandra database infrastructure.
• Collaborate with squad and frontline teams to ensure database reliability, performance, and scalability.
• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Develop and contribute to automated test case repository to aid in product/platform life cycle
• Develop and Implement automated solutions and frameworks to streamline database operations.
• Handle issues with focus on continuous improvement: you will automate, educate and share knowledge clearly
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of documentation for database processes and procedures.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in database management and DevOps.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of database systems
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices (e.g., Ansible, Kubernetes, Cloudbees).
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Internship or project experience in database management or DevOps.
• Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
