Job Description:

Your Mission

As the Associate Director of Anti-Cheat Client Protection, you are responsible for driving the client-side technology that protects Call of Duty. This involves managing and maintaining the current code base as well as identifying and investing in new technologies and services. All this needs to be accomplished with a DevOps mentality to ensure that our systems are always available and operating at a reasonable scale.

What you bring to the table

The video game industry and therefore our business is fast-paced and will continue to evolve. As such, the duties and responsibilities of this role may be changed as directed by the Company at any time to promote and support our business and relationships with industry partners. Therefore, this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:  

  • Managing multiple teams and anti-cheat technology
  • Driving the vision for anti-cheat in the client
  • Improving the integration and build processes of this technology into the game
  • Driving a DevOps methodology across the team

Player Profile  

Minimum requirements:

Experience  

  • 12+ years of experience in Software Development
  • 5+ years of experience in Game Development
  • 3+ years of experience as a Director or equivalent leadership role, ideally in game security or anti-cheat
  • Deep understanding/Experience in the Anti-Cheat space

Knowledge & Skills  

  • A degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a related field, or equivalent experience

Key Attributes  

  • Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively collaborate with franchise leaders and external partners

  • Understanding of the Call of Duty Game architecture and cheat environment
  • Deep understanding/Experience in the Anti-Cheat space
