Atlassian is on the lookout for a passionate Finance Manager remote in Poland who will be part of the Global Tax Team reporting to the International Tax Team. As a Finance Manager, you will oversee the Polish finance related issues facing an expanding technology business.
In this role:You will manage the Polish entity’s direct tax obligations including all lodgments and filings of the income tax return and associated schedules, including collaboration with our external advisors and tax authorities.
Assist the Global Tax Team with the preparation of the quarterly tax effect accounting calculations and preparation of Income Tax computation observing the local Polish rules;
Prepare monthly R&D data from payroll input and calculating the eligible credit for the period
Help with local GAAP reporting, including liasing with auditors/Global Technical Accounting team regarding the Annual FS/Audit including Complete details of the Financial statements
You will perform research on Polish tax and accounting issues 
Help with the GUS reporting monthly/quarterly/annual requirements
You will look for opportunities to automate and scale the existing processes

On your first day, we'll expect that:

• 5+ years experience working in the finance industry with either a professional services firm or in-house finance team and a focus on Polish finance issues for multinationals
• Biegly Rewidentqualified or equivalent qualification
• You understand the Polish tax laws and Polish accounting standards
• You have strong research skills
• You have strong tax effect accounting skills (Under IFRS and / or GAAP)
• You can manage projects with different team members and timezones
• You have superb technical skills and MS excel experience (can maintain complex spreadsheets)
• Have experience using EBADU
