What You Will Do:

•  Guidehouse is seeking a Financial and Budget Analyst to join our Defense and Security Segment, where they will analyze budget and financial data to identify trends, develop comprehensive reports, and support decision-making for large-scale programs within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

• Develop cost models using excel

• Leading the development of concise and impactful reports to convey key insights on complex programs and portfolios to senior leaders

• Conducting financial analysis for large and complex programs and portfolios
  Providing advice concerning financial trends, strategic direction, and financial and budgetary impacts of proposed solutions to senior leaders

• Conducting data analysis and data visualization, displaying trends, key performance indicators, and meaningful insights

• Using and adhering to government financial management processes and standards

What You Will Need:

• US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust

• Bachelors Degree

• 2+ years of professional experience

• Ability to understand financial data and develop reporting insights, include trend analysis

• Experience will excel and cost models

• Identify and mitigate risk related to the financial management process

• Organizing and leading client meetings, including scheduling meetings; drafting and delivering agendas and meeting minutes; providing and archiving required documentation; and documenting, tracking, and following-up on action items.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

• Experience with Cost Perform software

• Experience with R or other data cleansing software

The annual salary range for this position is $65,400.00-$117,800.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
