GumGum’s Sr. Product Manager, AI will own and create a roadmap focusing on developing and advancing cutting-edge machine learning technologies that meet the needs of the market. Our team is composed of world-class data scientists, engineers, and product managers working on computer vision and natural language processing technologies that are designed to comprehend and interpret digital content across a variety of formats, including text, images, video, and audio. 

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager with extensive knowledge and experience in creating AI/ML products. The Senior Product Manager will collaborate closely with our skilled team of data scientists, distinguishing between unrealistic concepts and encouraging the team to pioneer cutting-edge machine learning-based solutions.

The successful candidate is detail-oriented and a big picture thinker, helping to drive improvements to existing technology alongside innovative breakthroughs, and is challenged by solving problems across technical products at significant scale. 

This role reports to our Director or Product Management, Verity and supports GumGum’s broader Product Management Team including a number of key internal partners - data scientists, sales, marketing, operations, and engineering.

Note: GumGum currently operates in a ‘work from home’ virtual environment with sporadic opportunities for in-person business and morale events (health guidelines permitting). There will not be any requirement to go into the office on a daily basis moving forward. GumGum is only open to hiring remote candidates who are residents in the following states: AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KY, MA, MD, MI, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OR, PA, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, and MN.

What You'll Achieve

• Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for machine learning initiatives, with a focus on computer vision and natural language processing
• Work closely with our team of data scientists and engineers, providing requirements to assist in the development of first-in-class machine learning models
• Conduct market research, gather customer insights, and engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and feedback
• Define reporting, measurement solutions, and success criteria across our AI/ML capabilities, communicate and educate internal team members on the differences between capabilities
• Ensure the product meets the highest standards of usability, functionality, and performance
• Define and prioritize product requirements and user stories
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, data science, sales, marketing, customer success, and senior leadership to ensure seamless product development and launch, and communication and alignment
• Be the domain expert demonstrating a passion for AI, ML and advertising, staying up-to-date on industry trends and providing invaluable insight to our company

Skills You'll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. Advanced degree is preferred, or equivalent work experience
• At least 4-5 years of product management experience in tech companies, with a focus on machine learning products
• Solid understanding of machine learning, natural language processing, and computer vision
• Proven track record of managing all aspects of successful products throughout their lifecycle
• Strong technical background with the ability
