About the role

Join our dynamic team as a Security Specialist at Case Management Consulting!

This position requires an active TS/SCI Security Clearance (with the ability to obtain a CI poly)

 

The responsibilities of the Area Security Officer may include:

  • Analyze and resolve complex security issues using established concepts and practices.
  • Collaborate with various SIS offices and divisions to develop effective solutions.
  • Provide security guidance to contractors based on DoD and IC regulations.
  • Analyze data for program recommendations and monitor security applications through metrics.
  • Prepare and disseminate security procedures, impact statements, and recommendations on violations.
  • Safeguard classified information and act as a liaison with federal agencies and contractors.
  • Manage the preparation and shipment of SCI and collateral materials in compliance with security protocols.
  • Conduct briefings and assist in processing security requests and personnel checks.
  • Support PMs and CORs with task order security guidance per NISPOM, FAR, and DFAR.
  • Establish emergency plans for protecting NGA assets and ensure compliance with security standards.
  • Perform site security surveys and review documentation for SCIF accreditation.
  • Provide industrial security guidance and maintain support for OPSEC programs.
  • Prepare SEA briefings and offer expertise in personnel, physical, industrial, and computer security disciplines.
  • Monitor security programs and provide status reports and recommendations.

 

Skills and Experience

 

 Required:

  • An active TS/SCI clearance (with the ability to obtain a CI poly)
  • 5 years of experience in one or more security fields
  • Experience using IC security repositories (DISS, Scattered Castles, etc.)
  • Experience writing security-related reports
  • Experience providing security briefings/training to non-security personnel on aspects or components of a security program

 

Desired:

  • Experience generating security metrics
  • Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC)
  • Managing SCIF locations per ICD 705 requirements.
  • Using online communication programs (such as Microsoft Teams)
  • Familiar with DoD task order Security Classification Specification (DD 254)
  • Experience in multiple security disciplines
