Senior Data Engineer

What are we looking for?

• Academic knowledge in business activities and data understanding, with knowledge of data modeling, data cataloging, and data lineage;
• Academic knowledge of data manipulation using data management and business intelligence tools (e.g., to support modeling activities);
• Ability to explain complex data issues in non-technical terms;
• Autonomy and agility in delivery;
• Strategic thinking, problem-solving, excellent verbal and written communication;
• Good insight and confidence in working with senior stakeholders with exceptional customer focus;
• Eagerness to learn and good storytelling skills (e.g., the ability to structure and synthesize the right messages to communicate);
• Ability to collaborate and openly debate within the team to execute projects, solve problems, and discuss challenges, acting as a team;
• Ability to analyze and implement APIs;
• Senior-level SQL knowledge;
• Experience in configuring the database (DPM) for new/altered processes;
• Script development;
• Model analysis;
• Critical implementation skills;
• Data build tool – Software for data transformations;
• Spark SQL;
• NIFI;
• Streaming tool for continuous flows;
• Python;
• API construction;
• Ability to work with code;
• Spark;
• GitLab;
• Cloud – AWS;
• Airflow;
• Dremio.
