Summary of Job Duties:

The Department of Mathematical Sciences in the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Arkansas, invites applications for three non-tenure track Instructors in Mathematics to start in August 2025. This is a standard nine-month faculty appointment.

These non-tenure track Instructor positions will teach up to four classes per semester. These positions could be teaching survey classes classes. The University is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the excellence of the academic community. The initial appointment is for a period of one academic year. The opportunity for reappointment will be based on performance and continued need. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others. We seek candidates who demonstrate curiosity in emerging technologies and novel approaches to traditional methods.
