Job Description

Join our dynamic team!  We have an opening for a Director of Payroll who oversees and optimizes our organization’s payroll processes.

As the Director of Global Payroll Services, you will lead and mentor the global payroll delivery team to ensure that payroll is processed smoothly and accurately across over 34 countries with over 10,000 employees.  You will be a key partner for our stakeholders and payroll-managed service providers, using the latest technologies, such as Workday HR, Dayforce, and ADP Payroll Suites, to improve and streamline our processes. You will ensure that payroll is done correctly, efficiently, and on time and that we comply with each country's relevant payroll and regulatory requirements.

LOCATION: Hybrid friendly and remote considered (United States)

Qualifications

  • A degree in Accounting, HR, or a related field and a CPP certification are preferred.
  • You have successfully set up and registered payroll in new countries and have experience integrating payroll after mergers and acquisitions.
  • You have technical expertise in global tax and payroll accounting regulations and standards.
  • You are a strong leader who can perform hands-on tasks when needed.
  • You strive for excellence in your operations and customer service.
  • You can manage and facilitate change effectively among your team and stakeholders.
  • Preferred qualifications: degree in Accounting, HR, or a similar field; CPP certification.
  • Required experience: 10+ years of payroll management for a large, public, global company with multiple sites and countries; global expansion and setup; M&A integration; and vendor management.
  • Required skills: technical knowledge of global tax and payroll accounting rules and standards; Workday and ADP payroll systems; business process outsourcing; leadership; operational excellence; customer service; change management.
  • You should be able to handle change well and help your team and stakeholders adapt to it.
  • Develop collaborative partnerships with internal stakeholders to ensure payroll operations are compliant and meet business objectives.
  • Maintain trusted relationships with our external payroll partners, ensuring they meet all KPIs and SLAs
  • Establish and achieve the department’s annual budget, strategies, goals, and objectives.
