Your Responsibilities
As a Part-Time Student for the Innovation and Strategy team within the John Deere Enterprise Technical Information Development (ETID) located in Waterloo, IA, you will...
- Enhance team communication, streamline onboarding, and support operational excellence across our projects. You will play a key role in shaping how we work, connect, and grow together.
- Lead the monthly innovation lounge meeting that fosters continuous learning, cross-functional collaboration, and forward-thinking growth across the organization.
- Maintain and improve the onboarding process for new employees in ETID
- Redefine and restructure the organization's SharePoint site for better usability
- Develop the Innovation newsletter focused on project progress, upskilling, and recognition
- Collaborate with stakeholders to organize the monthly Innovation sprint review meetings

What Skills You Need
- Ideally pursuing a degree in communications, marketing, business (Others may apply)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Demonstrated growth mindset and ability to build relationships and influence without authority
- Strong time management, organization, and planning skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Tools
- Must be registered as a full-time student at a U.S. accredited college/university
- Graduation date of December 2026 or later
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
- Available to work 16–20 hours/week during the academic year
- Available to work 35–40 hours/week during the summer semester
- Must be able to commute to Waterloo, IA on a regular basis

- Experience with AI tools
- Skills in content creation, facilitation, or newsletter development
