KATBOTZ is seeking a EDW Business Reporting Analyst to join our team for a client-side project. Candidates should have a strong background in SQL and Tableau, with a focus on delivering actionable insights through enterprise data warehouse (EDW) reporting solutions. This role requires a blend of technical skills, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management to drive business decisions through effective data visualisation and reporting.

Job Description

Expertise with 10+ years of experience in Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) reporting and analytics using SQL and Tableau
Strong background in developing and maintaining complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and ETL processes
Hands-on experience in creating interactive Tableau dashboards and visualisation
Experience in data modelling, optimization, and performance tuning

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level dashboards and reports using Tableau to support business decision-making
Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis from various data sources
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Implement data quality measures and perform regular audits to ensure data accuracy and reliability
Provide documentation and training for end-users on report usage and data interpretation

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
Minimum 7 years of experience in SQL development and data warehousing
Proven expertise in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server
Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts and dimensional modelling

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

Tableau Desktop Specialist or Tableau Desktop Certified Professional certification
Experience with SAP HANA and EDW
Advanced SQL skills including performance tuning and optimization
Knowledge of data visualisation best practices and user experience design
Experience in working with large-scale data warehouses
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Experience in Agile development methodologies
Knowledge of data governance and security principles
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
