Job Details:

Work Shift: 4 am - 2 pm  Mon-Tues-Thurs-Friday (off Wednesday)

It will be 1st shift. The Team Member will be scheduled to work 4 days a week, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 4 AM to 2 PM.

The position pays: $15.75 per hour as a base pay.

This position is responsible for performing various hatchery tasks while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

This position is for the summer only. Starts as soon as position is filled and ends Friday, Sept 2nd. 

All applicants must provide their government identification number so the system can verify any previous Tyson employment history.

This facility accepts rehires after 180 days and only if the applicant has not worked more than three previous times for Tyson.  Tyson reserves the right to require longer waiting periods or not accept rehires based on the reason for dismissal. This position is responsible for performing various hatchery tasks while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. This position is responsible for stacking of product and performing various hatchery tasks assigned by the Hatchery Manager. All Tyson policies and procedures must be followed to include Animal Welfare and Bio-Security guidelines.

Job requirements: selected candidate must live in a 50-mile radius from Newton Hatchery. Must not own, possess, or otherwise maintain any domestic, wild or exotic fowl to be considered. Example: (yard chickens, pheasants, parakeets, parrots, etc.) Animal Welfare background check is required.
