About the role

PURPOSE OF POSITION:  

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior FP&A Analyst to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a proven track record of distilling data into analytics and actionable business drivers to promote understanding with senior leaders. As a Senior FP&A Analyst, you will have one direct report and be responsible for a range of critical financial tasks.

 

Compensation: $90-100K

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Complex Financial Modeling: Possess the ability to create intricate financial models, including a three-statement integrated financial model. This involves building models from scratch and ensuring their accuracy and relevance to our financial planning.

Variance Analysis: Conduct detailed variance analysis, with a strong capability to identify and understand the root causes of variances. This requires a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of financial operations.

Budgeting/Forecasting: Develop revenue and departmental expense budgets and forecasts in collaboration with senior leaders as well as lead monthly budget Vs actual review meetings.

Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly reporting for CFO and Board of Director presentations.

Long Range Planning Review: Review and propose intelligent adjustments to the long-range planning model based on data analysis. This involves a strategic outlook and the ability to forecast future financial scenarios.

ROI Calculation: Calculate the Return on Investment (ROI) for various projects. This includes driving efforts to gather necessary information and data to perform accurate and meaningful ROI calculations.

Miscellaneous Projects and Analytics: Handle miscellaneous projects, analytics, reconciliations and other duties as assigned. This requires versatility and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

KEY COMPETENCIES:

Proved experience in developing and implementing projects

Advanced proficiency with financial modeling and Excel

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

10+ years of work experience in FP&A

Experience with Sage Intacct a plus
