Commercial Analytics Manager

Purpose and Scope

The Commercial Analytics, Manager, will lead brand analytics for Tolmar’s Breast Cancer medicines. They will be responsible for leading development of commercial reporting, building the annual forecast for the brand, and developing quarterly incentive compensation plans. The Manager, Commercial Analytics, will be the main point of contact for all analytics needs of the general manager of the Oncology business unit.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

 Primary analytics strategic partner of the general manager of the Oncology business unit.

• Refine multiple large source data sets into concise, useful, and meaningful management reports, with an emphasis on providing timely and accurate answers to key business questions.

• Work with the business unit’s general manager and sales leadership to develop gross and net revenue forecasts. Track performance against these forecasts and perform analysis to understand performance.

• Identify, research, and modify variances to forecast by changing business and market conditions and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.

• Support strategic forecast initiatives designed to improve quality of the forecast and close the identified gaps.

• Work with leadership to develop Sales Incentive Plans. Measure and Track Sales Incentive performance throughout the year.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Business, Accounting, or other quantitatively oriented field

• 4-6 years related experience in Commercial Analytics, Report Development, Forecasting and Sales Incentives, preferably within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry
