Occupational Summary
Perform comprehensive administrative duties in support of appointment, promotion and tenure activities for designated departments in the School of Medicine; facilitate credentialing and re-credentialing activities. Assist in departmental faculty development and professional development initiatives. Apply advanced knowledge and skills to resolve complex challenges and opportunities independently and with others.
Work Performed

Coordinate and manage appointment, promotion and tenure workflows, in conjunction with department and School of Medicine APT leaders and committees, from initiation to completion.

Compose and edit faculty appointment and promotion documents, both independently and with input from relevant stakeholders.

Assist departments in the timely management of all APT communications; establishing systems to track and monitor progress and ensure completion.

Facilitate faculty credentialing and re-credentialing process, including compliance with initial and ongoing professional practice evaluation requirements.

Responsible for oversight of faculty clinical and academic onboarding/offboarding and integration activities such as the completion of billing packets, provider enrollment, research orientation and other faculty requirements.

Effectively interface with various systems associated with faculty appointment and promotion, including dFac and DMR.

Partner with department APT leadership to support faculty development and professional development initiatives.

Oversee onboarding of new faculty

Oversee and recommend improvements to the organization of faculty affairs record keeping.

Serve as liaison with all levels of administration and faculty to coordinate and resolve problems and issues relative to clinical, academic and administrative matters.
Required Qualifications
Education
Work requires analytical, communications and organizational skills generally acquired through completion of college courses. A bachelor's degree is preferred.
Experience
Work requires 2-4 years of experience in program administration or other administrative capacity or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
