Job Description
THE POSITION:
The Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) will be responsible for leading and implementing the US commercialization strategy for EVERSANA-partnered programs. This role will be responsible for optimizing growth and ensuring commercial excellence and superior customer experience. The CCO will have oversight for the partnership P&L, commercial execution and will provide regular updates to the joint management committee (JMC).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our employees are tasked with delivering excellent business results through the efforts of their teams. These results are achieved by:
- Responsible for partnership P&L
- Collaborate with the partnership Senior Management and Commercial team to develop commercialization strategies, refine/update functional plans, and lead the execution team.
- Oversee the implementation and successful development of strategic go-to-market plan and team culture that ensures integration between all functional teams driving the commercialization effort.
- Proposes and ensures implementation of pricing and contracting strategies.
- Oversee sales forecasting and marketing strategy for the client asset.
- Analyze and interpret changing market and industry dynamics/trends to determine the effect on current business and use this information to formulate new commercial strategies and tactics.
- Ensure effective control of Commercial team results and take corrective action to guarantee that achievement of Commercial objectives falls within designated budgets.
- Regularly provides transparent updates to the JMC on progress of the commercialization efforts and defined performance metrics
- Collaborates with shared services (Finance, IT, HR, Legal) to keep our fiduciary responsibilities on track and manage any execution risks.

- Responsible for and oversee their respective department.
- Interview, select and supervise the activities of the department staff; communicate interpret and discuss with team the company policies and procedures.
- Determine job objectives, work methods and performance standards; review performance relative to departmental objectives discussion appraisal with each employee and performance; authorize and communicate salary changes, promotions, transfers, discipline, and discharge and administer all other personnel actions.
EXPECTATIONS OF THE JOB:
- Travel (30-50%)
- Hours (40 hours per week, flexibility needed as client/customer needs arise)
