Technical Program Manager, Quality Management Systems

Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team within Global Quality and a key contributor to Lam’s Digital Transformation journey.

 

• Support Lam’s Quality System implementations based on new technology needs identified during Global Quality’s digital transformation journey.
• Work with Product Owners and Product Managers to determine and prioritize improvements and product features for Lam’s internal Quality Management Systems.
• Experience with non-conformance & complaint management systems including investigating tools like 8D & CAPAs.
• Good understanding of process mapping tools (Kaizen, visual stream maps, etc.).
• Work with DT teams and Enterprise architects to help with process mapping.
• Assist with collecting business requirements, product definition, development, and planning through production and effective release.
• Own the feature release process, identify process measures, and establish KPIs.
• Support Quality System enhancements based on new technology needs.
• Partner with Product Management, Data Analytics, and Business Process teams to determine priority of new features, defects, and improve ongoing usability.
• Own and refine the feature backlog based on feedback from internal stakeholders.
• Participate in agile project teams by contributing valuable insights to product backlog refinement and program execution and being adaptable to evolving project requirements and priorities.
• Lead change management process relative to the QMS changes.

Other Job Responsibilities

• Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders on product value and success criteria.
• Establish and assure adherence to program schedule and performance to meet business requirements. 
• Working knowledge of leveraging AI within business processes.
• Develop efficient internal customer communication, feedback channels (SharePoint, Teams) and processes to manage user feedback.
• Lead development of high-level business requirements in close collaboration with GIS stakeholders
• Working knowledge and awareness of organizational objectives to efficiently drive priority and resolution of cross-functional quality issues relative to Lam’s Quality roadmap. 
• Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

• BA/BS required in Engineering or related discipline
• 5+ years or more experience in Technical Product (IT systems) Management and/or Quality disciplines
• Demonstrated structured problem-solving capability (8D, PS&DM, etc.)
• Effective communication capabilities, e.g. ability to create and deliver Executive Summaries, Roadmap and/or Program updates
• Proficient with Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Excel and other visualization software, etc.
• Understanding and effective use of Lam’s matrix management (or similar)
• Semiconductor industry experience preferred, either capital, customer and/or supplier

Preferred Qualifications

• Program and Project management experience (PMP, CAPM, Agile, Scrum Master)
• Experience working in an Agile development environment 
• Experience working with enterprise-wide Quality Management systems and ERP systems   like SAP
•  Experience as a Project/Program Manager with escalating responsibilities
•  Experience with Miro, MS Visio, or other visualization software
• Ability to create & understand system architecture flowcharts

Location

Fremont, California.

 

Position will be expected to be in the office 3-5 days a week.

 Salary and Benefits

CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $112,000.00 -  $244,000.
