Senior Marketing Manager
Storable’s Marine Division (Molo and Stellar) is looking to add a Senior Marketing Manager to our team.
As a Senior Marketing Manager at Storable within our growth division, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive the growth of our products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management and sales, to create and implement go-to-market plans, drive customer engagement, and ensure our products meet market demands. Additionally, you will take the lead role in managing vendor relationships that bolster our marketing initiatives, all while fostering the growth of our capabilities alongside the business—with the potential to lead a team in the future.
Recently acquired by Storable, Molo and Stellar are Marina Management Software (MMS) solutions that help marine businesses gain efficiency and offer new levels of customer service. Molo tracks customers, vessels, slip availability, reservations, services, and sales. Stellar helps boat rental and club operators increase revenue by offering an online booking system that helps operators capture more bookings, reduce inbound call volume, and mitigate boat damage.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Marketing Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the growth division's objectives.
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Lead the development and execution of go-to-market plans for new products, features, and initiatives, ensuring a cohesive and impactful launch.
- Product Positioning and Messaging: Craft compelling product messaging, value propositions, and positioning strategies that resonate with target audiences and differentiate our offerings in the market.
- Competitive Landscape: Continuously monitor and analyze the competitive landscape, identify market trends, and benchmark our products against competitors to maintain a competitive edge.
- Vendor Management: Identify and manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and partners involved in marketing campaigns, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.
- Content Creation: Oversee the creation of marketing collateral, sales enablement materials, website content, and other assets to support marketing campaigns, effectively leveraging third-party efforts.
- Trade Show Management: Collaborate with the enterprise’s Event Marketing team and third parties regarding our presence at trade shows, including booth design, collateral, attendance, trade show marketing, and sponsorships.
- Market Research and Insights: Conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and gather customer insights to inform marketing strategies and product development decisions.
- Performance Analysis: Define and monitor key metrics to track campaign performance, analyze results, and optimize marketing initiatives for maximum impact and ROI.
- Expansion Opportunities: Effectively identify opportunities for an expanded team and capabilities, based on the needs of the future state of the business.
What you need to bring to the table:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in marketing with 3+ years in product marketing, preferably in a technology or B2B environment, with an understanding of lead generation strategies and tactics.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing strategies, product positioning, and launching products or features to market.
- Proficiency in using analytics tools to measure and analyze marketing performance, derive insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience managing Digital Advertising (including Google Ads and Facebook Ads) and Search Engine Optimization initiatives.
- Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a results-oriented mindset.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to translate business objectives into actionable marketing plans.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
