SUMMARY
The Support Specialist-Front Desk Associate will be position in our Residential Treatment location and support individuals in both residential and outpatient substance use treatment. This person is responsible for providing a safe and supportive environment within a single support adult facility. Our housing program serves individuals with lived experiences of substance use, mental health conditions, homelessness, and justice involvement. Responsibilities include monitoring and assisting with resident situations that occur throughout the building, greeting all visitors, supporting program staff.
Pay range: $20-$22/hour
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitoring and assisting clients in residential programming
- Greeting all visitors
- Monitoring the front door access
- Supporting program staff
- Ordering supplies for the program
- Monitoring of participant passes
- Administering urine analysis and supporting the process of the UA calendar for participants
- Ordering and handing out transportation assistance in accordance with protocol
- Supporting the admissions team in the coordination of individuals seeking treatment
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Required:
- High school diploma/GED certificate.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to multi-task and provide accurate information.
- Ability to perform duties discretely and observe program confidentiality policies.
- Experience working with diverse backgrounds and the ability to adapt to a variety of situations as they arise.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal, organizational, written and oral communication skills.
- Must be computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office products.
- Must be friendly, professional, compassionate, and have the desire to be helpful to residents living in a supportive housing program.
