VP, Program/Project Mgmt

Develops and implements a comprehensive technology program/project management strategy aligned with the company’s overall business objectives. Assists with managing and monitoring the overall technology project portfolio. Works with Enterprise Technologies leadership to schedule projects on Project Portfolio. Ensures all projects and programs adhere to regulatory requirements and compliance standards withing the financial industry. (Strategic Planning & Oversight) Leads, mentors, and develops a high-performing team of Project and Program Managers, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Team Leadership & Development) Oversees the successful execution of multiple, complex programs and projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the agreed-upon scope. (Program & Project Delivery) Builds strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, business units, techonology, and external partners, to ensure alignment and effective communication. (Stakeholder Management) Identifies, assesses, and mitigates project and program risks, developing proactive strategies to address potential challenges. (Risk Management) Drives the development and implementation of strandardized project and program management methodologies, tools, and best practices to enhance delivery efficiency and effectiveness. (Process Improvement) Manages program and project bugets, tracks expenditures, and ensures optimal allocation of resources. (Financial Management) Provides regular updates and reports on program and project status, including key milestones, risks, and dependencies , to executive leadership and stakeholders. (Reporting & Communication) Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field or comparable work experience. 15 plus years of progressive experience in project and/or program management, with a significant portion in leadership roles within the financial industry. Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale, cross-functional projects and programs in a fast-paced and regulated environment. Deep understanding of industry best practices. Expertise in various project management methodologies. Proficiency in project management tools. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
