Key Responsibilities:

• Under the supervision of the registered nurse the Clinical Assistant (CA) will help provide basic bedside nursing care for Medical ICU patients.
• In collaboration with the registered nurse, the CA may be responsible for obtaining vital signs, performing EKGs, and oxygen saturation measurements, while identifying and reporting unusual findings or changes in patient condition to the registered nurse.    
• The CA may assist with transporting patients, stocking of supplies and equipment as needed.
• The CA role provides the opportunity to practice in a family centered environment.
• 4 shifts over 6 weeks requirement. 

Minimum Qualifications

Education:
High School Diploma

Experience:

• 1-year CA experience, CNA certification, or Nursing Student with at least one clinical rotation.

Licensure/ Certifications:

• Basic Life Support certification (BLS) preferred
