The Opportunity
This position works out of our Indiana location.
As a global leader in Cardiac Rhythm Technologies, we focus on innovative technologies that can improve the way doctors treat people with heart arrhythmias, or irregular heartbeats.
As a Site Leader- Distribution Management (CRM Cardiac Rhythm Management Division) this role has ownership of the entire distribution center operations, overseeing end-to-end processes to ensure efficient and effective distribution of products. The site leader is responsible for managing all aspects of the distribution center, including receiving, storage, inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, and logistics. Responsible for managing metrics to scorecard our performance in these areas. Must be willing to travel extensively to learn/train and understand the current operations in Roseville, MN before starting up the new operations.
What You'll Work On
This position:
Provide leadership and direction to the distribution center team, including managers and individual contributors.
Establish and ramp up a new distribution center, including facility setup, staffing, and operational launch.
Set goals and objectives aligned with the company's strategic plans and manage execution through coaching and mentoring.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, professional growth, and cross-functional collaboration.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize distribution center operations, including workforce planning, inventory management, and systems utilization.
Ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery of products to customers.
Monitor and manage key performance metrics to ensure operational excellence.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
Partner with key stakeholders across the organization to drive process improvement initiatives.
Ensure that resources are optimized and service levels are maintained without sacrificing quality.
Develop and communicate plans to ensure adequate inventory levels to support the organization.
Prepare and manage the distribution center budget.
Ensure compliance with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Maintain a safe and professional work environment.
Hire and retain a diverse, highly qualified staff.
Provide ongoing performance feedback and development opportunities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors Degree In Business Administration or Supply Chain related body of knowledge OR an equivalent combination of education and work experience
Masters Degree Preferred
