In this position, you will play a key role in driving the organization toward a culture of customer obsession through innovation and action plans that deliver cross-functional cultural change, and year-over-year performance improvement and productivity gains.  </p> <p><strong>You Will:</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Lead and oversee the Transformation (and Innovation) team of 12 </li> <li>Collaborate with Service Operations Leaders and stakeholders to develop and deploy a strategic roadmap of operational improvements focused on productivity and quality for Payer and Provider operations.   </li> <li>Facilitate and lead, complex Service Operations and enterprise-wide transformation projects across business units, while providing continuous improvement coaching and mentoring to engagement teams.  </li> <li>Create new organizational capabilities, including technical and people driven.  </li> <li>Leverage stakeholders to drive change within the organization and manage outcomes.   </li> <li>Gain trust and influence others through strong and effective communications and a high say/do ratio.    </li> <li>Ensure that investments in technology are appropriate to the developments in the industry and produce satisfactory returns. Adjust the product to support changing business directions. </li> <li>Create an organization that attracts and fosters top talent inside and outside of Datavant; be an emphatic recruiter, developer, and retainer of high-caliber talent. </li> </ul> <p><strong>What You Will Bring to the Table: </strong> </p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated experience championing the implementation, transformation and continuous improvement methods in small and large-scale programs.  </li> <li>Management experience for a large team in a matrixed environment, healthcare industry preferred  </li> <li>Prior experience partnering with leaders to improve business processes and outcomes through approaches including: </li> <li>Analyzing data to determine where improvements can be made to increase efficiency or effectiveness of processes and identify areas for optimization, automation, and standardization with a focus on ROI. </li> <li>Driving continuous improvement culture shift with significant customer outcomes reached (operational and financial). </li> <li>Prior experience driving large scale change management and project management, leveraging expert level understanding of operational transformation tools, fundamentals, and processes: </li> <li>Preferred experience in Operational Effectiveness, Lean Methodology, and / or Six Sigma process improvement. </li> <li>Ability to work well in fast-paced changing environment and is comfortable with ambiguity.  </li> <li>Negotiation, mediation, and conflict management skills.  </li> <li>Strong financial and business acumen, critical thinking, decision making abilities.   </li> <li>Advanced analytical capabilities and aptitude to distill insight, translating complex concepts into clear and understandable communications</li> <li>Strong interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills; ability to conceptualize, structure, and present compelling stories to a wide range of audiences.  </li> <li>Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization as well as organizations outside of Datavant, such as clients.  </li> </ul> <p><strong>Bonus Points if:</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Advanced degree and/or Healthcare credentials </li> <li>Experience in Transformation Consulting or Project Management </li> </ul> <p>We are committed to building a diverse team of Datavanters who are smart, nice, and get things done where every Datavanter is empowered to bring their authentic self to their work.
