Home Health Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)

As a full-service home care & hospice agency providing a broad range of services to our customers, we are currently seeking a qualified and professional part-time COTA to care for our patients and become a valued member our team. We are therapist owned and operated, and our team enjoys a flexible schedule, a supportive work environment filled with people who collaborate to provide the highest standard of care for our clientele.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Working directly with the patients to create trusting relationships
• Assisting patients with the therapy plan of care created by an Occupational Therapist
• Helping patients develop, recover, and improve ADLs
• Providing rehabilitation for patients suffering from various diagnoses affecting ADLs
• Completing required documentation in a timely and detailed manner
• Ability to successfully collaborate with the interdisciplinary team dedicated to each patient's care plan

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant from an institution accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association
• Current New Mexico License
• One year of experience preferred
• Reliable, insured transportation & a valid driver's license
