Description
In support of the Home-Based Care Leadership team, the Chief of Staff will report directly to the President of Home-Based Care and will be responsible for supporting the development of business priorities and goals and partnering with the Home-Based Care Senior Leadership team to oversee the Home-Based Care management process. This includes facilitation of key leadership meetings and special projects as needed.
Key accountabilities for this role include:
Serves as a critical advisor to the Home-Based Care President working in close partnership with the Home-Based Care leadership team, key matrix partners, finance and human resources.
Acts as a connector within Home-Based Care and Pharmacy to ensure business challenges are addressed and escalated appropriately, align the leadership team, and drive the appropriate flow of decisions and information.
Provide project management expertise for the President of Home-Based Care. Coordinate with the administrative professional that supports the Home-Based Care leadership team.
The successful candidate for this role will be collaborative, a facilitator, an open-minded innovator, a self-starter, and possess strong capabilities to transform various ideas and actions into a synthesized set of business plans while also being able to handle organizational needs for the President.
Core Responsibilities
Leadership: Work collaboratively with the Home-Based Care leadership team and key leaders across the enterprise to drive execution against Home-Based Care goals. Serve as key partner to Home-Based Care President. Monitors information flow; provides project management support to the President; prioritizing meetings and engagements on behalf of the President.
Develop a deep understanding of Home-Based Care business to inform actions needed from the team, and highlight/enable engagement efforts for leadership
Establish strong working relationships and develop a high level of credibility across the business and with matrix partners
Management Process: Owns coordination and curation of management process for the leadership team/daily operations; responsible for ongoing implementation, adherence, revisions, etc. Oversees team meetings and responsible for the Monthly Operating Review and Monthly Business Review processes.
Own leadership meeting management, including agenda setting, meeting facilitation, and action item resolution
Facilitate and coordinate identification and fulfillment of key deliverables/objectives to drive incremental progress toward annual goals and programmatic initiatives.
Ensure leaders are prepared for Monthly Operating Reviews and Monthly Business Reviews. Hold prep sessions, provide templates and compile materials as necessary
Act as a connection point among business leadership, providing proactive identification of opportunities and issues that could impact the successful execution of commitments
Communications: Partner very closely with Communications team on overall communication strategy. Assists in the content creation for key communication materials to be used internally and externally. Support the development of executive audience materials as required, leveraging SMEs and Communication partners. Support the development and execution of the communication plan, including town halls, emails, etc., to ensure all levels of the organization are familiar with the business as well as understand our progress/results and how each individual is connected to achieving the business goals.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree preferred and 5 years of related work experience required; experience as a chief of staff or project manager preferred.

Proven track record of resilience, empathy, strong listening skills and the ability to work through challenging business situation in a highly collaborative way to drive the right business outcomes.
